The BFMAF Family Area is an exciting place where families can have fun while learning together through structured activities, creative play, and quiet time story telling with Elders. Multicultural community groups will share the stage with returning Family Stage stars, Alphabet Soup. The 2009 Western Canadian Music Awards nominees for their debut CD “You’re It!”, were so much fun last year we had to have them back! Release the artist within and cultivate the creativity though our various craft projects, explore the joys of mural painting, join in singing and play along with non-pitched percussion instruments with some of our favorite songs, experience a drum circle for children, and see our special guest performers! At the BFMAF we believe Family programming can be fun, educational, interactive and creative!
