Camping
Spend BFMAF camping under the trees!
The camp site is a fifteen foot walk from the main gate. It is a fully fenced, treed area with one central firepit and water tap on the Keystone Grounds. No drum jams, but music making is welcomed and encouraged.
We do have Quieter Camping this year. It’s way across the field from the regular music campground and sheltered by trees so will provide much, but not entirely, protection from noise. It should be enough that the music is just faint in the distance. I suggest if you want to reserve spots (as this will be limited) that you purchase advance passes online, at the website brandonfolkfestival.ca/wp/buytickets/ to guarantee a spot. There will also be a seperate gate for quieter camping into the festival site, access to a seperate bank of port o potties, security guard and access to a water truck.
Our site could be characterized as rustic camping, but there are port-o-potties, a fresh water tap, and security all night.
Campers are welcome to use portable stoves at individual campsites. The City of Brandon’s noise bylaws keep the campground quiet, but not silent. This is a music making camp ground. Almost all performers camp and continue the show in the camp ground after the mainstage shows conclude.
Campground Passes:
Individual $15
Family $25 (two adults plus children)
Remember to buy your campground passes early as there are only a limited number of spots available in this year’s camping grounds.
