The BFMAS AGM [open to members] will take place on Wednesday, 25 November at the Central United Church Auditorium, 329 8th Street.

Doors open at 6pm for Registration and Dinner
(suggested donation $5-$10 for dinner)

On Saturday, 21 November at 7:30 pm in the Brandon University Dining Hall the Brandon Folk, Music & Art Festival with the Brandon University Spanish Department present I Latino Festival!

Starting the evening off is the award winning film Hecho en Saskatchewan which tells the story of a group of Cuban musicians and their experience touring across Canada. One of their stops was the 2006 Brandon Folk, Music & Art Festival, footage of which is included in the film!

Then we move into the music and food.. From Mauritius is the Islands Vibe Band; From Mexico, Sentido Contrario; and the multi-National Son Latino Band. Latin food and Latin Dancing!

This event is open to all ages – tickets are $10 and available at Ten Thousand Villages, BUSU and Pennywise Books.

Doors open at 7:30 pm, film to follow – then dance the night away!
