Dry Bones

Dry Bones - different poses Greater than the sum of their parts is really saying something when the “parts” are the young heroes of Canadian Folk Music. They are Leonard Podolak (vocals, banjo, hambone), J.D. Edwards (guitars, harmonicas, vocals, hambone), Nathan Rogers (guitars, stomp, vocals, throat singing, kazoo) and Gilles Fournier (bass, vocals). Podolak’s banjo is the driving force and the melodic hook for much of their music, whether it be a traditional selection or one of the band’s own. JD Edwards writes some of the finest songs in the country right now, as does Nathan Rogers.
