The new Strand Project fundraising campaign is now up and running. The Light Up the Stage! campaign includes an online platform with Project information, many perks which will continue being updated given by artists and community members to help raise funds, Artist Designed Strand Project donation boxes by Chris Reid which you can find in many local businesses as well as other initiatives which will be rolled out in the coming months. Dinner is a wild ride of Modern Eastern European treats including Hungarian smoked paprika and roasted tomato meat balls, a beautiful sweet and sour cabbage side, little buns filled with savory Russian goodness and a delicious Solvenian Pastry filled with heaven for dessert.
Concert only is $15

It’s how our Artistic Director got started at the festival, volunteering in the food truck the festival ran, when she was 15. For anyone who hasn’t volunteered but has thought about it, we’d encourage you to give it a try.
The 30th annual Brandon Folk, Music & Art Festival is pleased to announce their line-up will feature a wide range of artists from around Manitoba, across Canada, and even the United States and the United Kingdom.

Ticket prices are largely the same as last year, with earlybird weekend passes just $64 for the three-day festival, and just $56 for students and seniors.

The Brandon Folk, Music and Art Society present their inaugural
Scotch Night Fundraiser
Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 7p.m.
Taste and learn a bit about 30 Scotches, enjoy live music and a light dinner in the beautiful surroundings of the ACC Culinary Arts Dining Room.
A perfect Valentine’s gift and a fabulous way to spend one of the last nights of winter, sipping Scotch by a fire.
Tickets are $100 each and a tax receipt will be issued for part of the ticket. Proceeds from the event will go towards programming in the 2014 year (50%) and to ongoing costs of developing the Strand Community Performance and Art Centre (50%).
